My answer to you is....Soon!!!Aptina as one of the image sensor maker recently has announced 2 new image sensors - AR1230 (12 MP) and AR1330 (13MP).
But make no mistake, here we are not talking about the megapixels but what can be done by the sensor.
While the AR1330 also has electronic image stabilization that can be used when recording video in 4K format UDH (Ultra HD) or 4K cinema format.
The plan, AR1230 and AR1330 will be launched in this year and it is not possible in early 2014 you can start to enjoy recording a video in 4K format.
