Cat B15 Rugged Android Smartphone

Dustproof and waterproof smartphones are still emerging. After Xperia Z, this time Cat B15 has appeared at MWC 2013.

This rugged android smartphone can withstand falls from 1.8 meters of height and waterproof up to 1 meter of depth for 30 minutes.

Cat B15 is equipped with 4 inch LFC touchscreen with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. The screen is covered with Gorilla Glass capacitive and supports wet tracking feature.

The B15 is also armed with MediaTek MT6577 chip 1 GHz dual-core processor, 512 MB RAM, 4GB memory that can be expanded via microSD slot, 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Cat B15 is also has been protected by using silver coated aluminum, rubber shock absorber, and IP67 certificate for the durability. This smartphone will be available in March 2013 for 329 euro.
